IBN Video Joiner is an easy-to-use video tool that lets you merge multiple video clips of different formats into a single video file. It can also be used as a video converter.
The program supports six output formats - AVI, MPEG, VCD, SVCD, DVD, WMV - and each one is customizable, but in many cases it requires extra codecs because it has not been updated recently.
Speaking about the customization options, they vary from one format to another; for example, with the AVI format you can change the width/height, frame rate, and choose the audio/video codecs; with the VCD format you can select the TV system type. There is also a stretch mode option that allows you to resize and crop the video clips to fit the output size.
The videos to be joined cannot be dragged and dropped to the program's window, you have to add them manually; but once they are added to the video list, you can preview their content and change their order.
Another aspect to be mentioned is that according to the developer, the program was designed for Windows XP and other older versions, but I tested it on Windows 7 and it works perfectly. Nevertheless, it would be great if it supported more output formats, and showed some compatible devices for these formats.
